Perfect example of how our system fails to work.

My family is a victim of someone that has been in and out of prison his entire live. Until he kills someone or does major bodily harm to someone he will continue to roam the streets. He has 2 charges of drugs. 2 assult charges on none family members and 2 for family members. Since he was 15 he has never stayed out of jail more that 6 months. What is wrong with this picture. Another example of system not being hard enough on repeat offenders.

its so sad to see that James Scott Burns was a 39-year-old married father of a six-month-old infant and called Linden home. During a routine traffic stop Tuesday, just Northeast of Lake O' the Pines on FM 1969, DPS said he tried to pull over a blue Dodge Intrepid, bearing the Texas license plate 039-LCG.

It’s always terrible when someone dies young, especially when they leave young children who’ll never know their father’s hugs and kisses.

I don’t know how they can perform such a dangerous job, knowing that when they leave the house, it may be the last time their family will ever see them alive again.

I like to think I care a lot about my fellow man, but it’s more than I could bring myself to do while raising a family of my own.
